WEEK 7 - NEW MEXICO

Hello little birds,

First of all, we apologies for the few days late - WiFi becomes as rare as one legged unicorns sometimes... BUT here it is nonetheless!

The first sand dunes that we saw in Colorado were very different than what we had imagined - big mountains around, higher than we had imagined, bigger challenge to climb, plus, we hit a storm and had to rush down (covered in sand for the next few days)! With that experience in mind we hesitated going to the the second sand dunes in New Mexico. And I can't even express how glad I am that we still went because it was my favorite place so far!

Dunes were so easy to walk on, views felt infinite, no civilisation around, pastelle colours were breathtaking and we had a lot of fun!

Mesa Verde and Carlsbad Cavern National Parks were also very beautiful and enriched our culture...

I'm currently writing from New Orleans (coolest city so far), and we are 2 weeks away from ending our adventure in New York. There is still so much left to do and see, I can't wait!

Talk to you soon,

E.
